Our Group sells three types of products, namely, CNG, LNG, and LPG, which are alternative fuel sources to traditional vehicle fuel such as petroleum.
CNG is compressed natural gas. It is the most widely used natural gas fuel of vehicles in China due to its lower production cost. CNG is often found in short distance vehicles, such as local buses, taxis and private vehicles. CNG is a clean energy widely promoted by the government.
LNG is liquefied natural gas. The LNG refuelling market in China is still in the emerging stage due to its relatively high cost to process, liquefy and store compared with CNG. Nevertheless, as greater compression is applied into liquid, LNG occupies smaller volume than CNG, which in turn makes it significantly easier to transport in bulk than CNG. LNG could be converted back to its gas state when vapourised to become CNG.
LPG is liquefied petroleum gas. LPG could be used as vehicle fuel but also commonly used for cooking or heating. Due to safety concern and along with the development of natural gas distribution network and technologies, LPG is being gradually replaced by natural gas.
